1. Honor and Status in the Hereafter
One of the most significant rewards for completing Hifz is the high honor bestowed upon a Hafiz (one who has memorized the Quran). The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) mentioned that a Hafiz will be honored by Allah on the Day of Judgment.
The Prophet (PBUH) said:
“The one who has memorized the Quran will be called on the Day of Judgment: ‘Recite and rise through the levels of Jannah, recite as you used to recite when you were in the world, for indeed, your rank will be at the last verse you recite.'”

This Hadith emphasizes that the Hafiz will be given a position in Paradise according to the number of verses they have memorized. The more verses one memorizes, the higher their rank in Jannah.
2. Intercession for Family
Another great reward of completing Hifz is the ability of the Quran to intercede for its memorizer on the Day of Judgment. The Quran will intercede on behalf of the Hafiz, not only for them but also for their family.
The Prophet (PBUH) said:
“The Quran will intercede for its companion on the Day of Judgment. It will say: ‘O my Lord, I kept him awake at night. So, let me intercede for him.’ And it will intercede for him.”

“Whoever reads the Quran and acts upon it, his parents will be crowned with a crown on the Day of Judgment, its light is more beautiful than the light of the sun, in the houses of this world. So, what do you think about the one who acts upon this?”

This Hadith indicates that the Hafiz and their parents will be honored on the Day of Judgment with blessings and light.
5. Reward for Each Letter Recited
When memorizing the Quran, every letter recited brings reward, as mentioned in a famous Hadith of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH):
“Whoever recites a letter from the Book of Allah, he will receive one reward, and one reward is multiplied by ten.”
(Tirmidhi)
This means that with every recitation, whether in the process of memorizing or reviewing, the Hafiz earns immense rewards. The act of memorization itself becomes a source of continuous reward.
